Beerhouses existed all over the world, sometimes they were rather developed and aristocracy often visited them searching for its favourite beer, sometimes they were not rather popular among noble people as reminded the bar where alcoholism was reining. Nevertheless they existed and were always full of visitors no matter of what class.

In Western Europe Beerhouses such as bars and pubs were also the centres of cultural life. They had the music, a lot of cultural entertainment, wide menu with the most original food and with wide choice of beer. In Eastern Europe, Beerhouses were not rather developed and had the primitive interior design and sometimes even had only one sort of beer served by the ugly barman. Moreover some Beerhouse didn't even have the toilet. And every beer lover knows how toilet is important when you drink beer.

In all Beerhouses no matter where they were situated, cooks served specially cooked food for beer. When Beerhouses first appeared there was no such wide choice of food as nowadays, but still cooks could propose fried meat and salty vegetables for people.

Nowadays Beerhouses are real treasure of every city. You may see there people of different classes and ages. It is the centre of life and the centre where all kinds of beer can be found. Such Beerhouses are especially popular in the countries where the beer tradition is well-developed such as Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, etc.
